DREAM Dance Company exists to connect the infinite dimensions of African Diaspora dance. Founder/Artistic Director Naomi Bragin is a 2007 Isadora Duncan Best Choreography Nominee for her work "The House of Two Spirits," a collaboration with renowned Afro-Cuban folklorist and Hip-Hop dancer Jose Barroso, which added African drums, Cuban salsa, and Rumba Columbia to contemporary radio boombap. Naomi teaches and performs throughout the Bay Area. DREAM has received funding from the East Bay Community Foundation Creative Work Fund, the Zellerbach Foundation, and the California Arts Council.
